RATES & COVERAGE OPTIONS

I am currently an in-network provider with Optum which includes United Healthcare Community Plans (Medicaid), Neighborhood Health Plan (Medicaid), and Commercial plans that fall under Optum, including Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Health Plans Inc., UMR, United Healthcare, and Oxford. I am also in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

You can check your coverage by asking the following questions, among others, of your insurance company:

  • Is Allison Ravech, LICSW an in-network provider?

  • What is my in-network deductible for outpatient mental health visits?

  • How much is my deductible and how much of it has it been met this year?

  • What is my copay for outpatient mental health visits?

  • Is this coverage applicable before or after I met my deductible?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • Is approval or referral for mental health services required from my primary care physician?

  • Are virtual outpatient mental health visits (or teletherapy) covered by my plan?

Out-of-Network (OON) :

If you are interested in working with me, but I am not in-network with your insurance carrier, I highly recommend you explore whether you have any out-of-network benefits.  Upon request, I can provide a receipt of services (called a superbill) for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. I have partnered with Reimbursify so clients can submit their claims with ease. It is your responsibility to pay for services at the time service is rendered and to seek out reimbursement from your insurance provider.

You can check your coverage by asking the following questions, among others, of your insurance company:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits?

  • What kinds of sessions do my mental health insurance benefits cover?

  • How much is my out-of-network deductible and how much of it has it been met this year?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is there a cap to coverage? (this may also be referred to as an allowed amount)

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • Is approval or referral for mental health services required from my primary care physician?
