Combining Compassion + Care
Hello, and welcome to my site. My name is Allison Ravech and I am a psychotherapist serving the Rhode Island area. My passion is helping others to heal and reach their full potential. I feel truly privileged to serve the clients I work with. I enter each client relationship with openness and acceptance. It is my highest priority to engage with all my clients in a way that demonstrates warmth and cultural sensitivity.
I have experience in a multitude of settings: outpatient psychotherapy, inpatient psychiatric treatment, research settings, and within the juvenile justice system.
I believe that non-judgmental and compassionate care should extend throughout all care settings. Outside of psychotherapy, I serve as a Teaching Associate at Brown University Alpert Medical School. I have had the pleasure of working with medical students training at Brown University Alpert Medical School for the past five years. There, I teach clinical skills to second-year medical students so that physicians can adopt new ways of compassionate communication with their patients.
